The work of the Police/Community Consultative Sector Working Group (SWG) covers a diverse area of London including Hyde Park, Bayswater, Edgware Road from Marble Arch to Maida Vale and the major regeneration Paddington Waterside Development and its surrounding area. The SWGs activities must be productive and produce measurable results. It is vital that all representatives and multi agency partners work together to ensure the diverse community wants to contribute towards reducing crime, disorder & anti social behaviour. Also, that they are freely able to join the SWG and work to promote harmony and an improved quality of life across their multi cultural Paddington. At all times the SWG works with London's Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to help the Commissioner achieve his above objective, and those outlined in the MPS Statement of Common Purpose:

Making London safe for all the people we serve. We make places safer. We cut crime and the fear of crime. We uphold the law.

To make London the safest major city in the world.

Treat everyone fairly. Be open and honest. Work in partnership. Change to improve.
